BASKETBALL SKILLS
Build a foundation that lasts.
Practice fundamentals, improve decisions, and learn to use skills with confidence.
OUR DEVELOPMENT PHILOSOPHY
Every athlete brings a different starting point, a different story, and a different goal. At Level Up, progress means building the skills and habits that help young people grow on the court, in school, and in everyday life.
We value effort, responsibility, and steady improvement. A stronger foundation gives athletes more confidence to take on the next challenge.
A CULTURE OF DEVELOPMENT
We put individual growth at the center of the experience. Athletes learn to take pride in their preparation, respond to feedback, support one another, and recognize progress. Academic effort, athletic improvement, and personal responsibility all matter.
Our academy focuses on development. AAU offers a separate path to team competition when an athlete is ready. Across both, we want young people to enjoy the work, build resilience, and carry good habits beyond basketball.
SIX CONNECTED PARTS
These priorities guide how we think about development.
BASKETBALL SKILLS
Practice fundamentals, improve decisions, and learn to use skills with confidence.
PERFORMANCE
Value movement quality, strength, coordination, and consistent effort as athletes develop.
ACADEMIC HABITS
Encourage preparation, accountability, and pride in learning. Growth as a student matters alongside growth as a player.
MINDSET
Practice focus, respond constructively to mistakes, and learn to accept feedback. Confidence grows through effort.
NUTRITION HABITS
Recognize the role of regular meals and hydration in showing up ready to train.
RECOVERY
Value sleep, recovery time, and communicating when something does not feel right. Sustainable habits support continued progress.
